“ Toast on First is a staple brunch stop for my fam as the food is consistently good, the service on point, and the patio area super comfy. The patio area gives off picnic vibes in fact. We love getting the pancake here as well as the simple breakfast. They'll top off your coffee if you finish it and give you a hot water with lemon if you ask. Definitely a great place to come if you're seeking a good brunch spot. ”
“ This was my 3rd time here & finally getting to writing a review! Love coming here when I get a chance! Food is always great & service is always nice! All 3 times I have never had to wait long or we've been able to walk right in to be seated! Server did not rush us & even let me & my girlfriends chat it up when we were done! It was not super busy so probably why. lol. We sat on the patio, which was a first but it was decorated so cute & was shaded! I had the Rajas con crema & a caramel latte with oat milk! Sooo tasty! Got some country potatoes as my side & they were perfectly crispy & with the rajas, mmm! All my girlfriends also enjoyed their meal, we left plates empty! ”

The food was amazing, I loved everything we ordered! I got a vanilla latte that was amazing. My fiance and I split the house french toast and the Santa Bacon Benedict with the hash brown chips. It was some of the best food I have had in a while. The french toast was fluffy but still flavorful and not too sweet. The Benedict was great, I liked that they didn't put too much hollandaise sauce on it. Absolutely loved the hash brown chips! Totally a 10/10, can't wait to come back! ”
“ I appreciate that you're able to join the waitlist prior to arriving as you can pick a timeframe that you'll be arriving. Allows you to have a peace of mind and not rush to get in queue. I will say our server was kind and greeted us with a smile but that's where it ended unfortunately. This is a quaint breakfast spot. Gives off the mom and pop breakfast spot. They have seating indoors and outdoors. The outdoors is nice because it's fenced off which provides coverage from the street. Now onto the drinks. We had the Mexican Mocha coffee which was great because it wasn't sweet and you can taste the espresso. The unicorn lemonade is fun and unique as it changes colors when you put the lemonade it. We both had an order of the Benedict's. We got an order of the bacon and avocado which had good flavor and loaded with avocado. The other was the filet mignon that wasn't too impressive. For the price you're paying ($30) I do not think they gave a great portion of meat. It was definitely on the smaller side. I don't want to cross this off the list but I'd come again to give it another try and maybe have something else off the menu. ”
“ We love this breakfast place located in Whittier. Indoor seating is small so request to sit in their spacious outdoor patio. I always order their lavender iced latte, which is always so refreshing and delicious. I ordered the smoked salmon cucumber toast, and it was very flavorful. You can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu, they give such huge portions! Definitely make sure to make a reservation or get added to the yelp waitlist, this place gets packed if you don't go right when it opens. The customer service was also a 10/10. ”
